this is what happens when im not around
my wonderful daughter madeline went bowling last night with some friends. i was working so her dad got her ready for this excursion by:
1. not combing her hair
2. not washing her face
3. putting horribly mismatched clothing on her
i am a very anal retentive person and i like my daughter to be clean,groomed and well dressed when we leave the house. apparently my ex does not care. although she looks absolutely adorable all the time, i would prefer that other people not think that my daughter looks like a rugrat with bad hair(i put her hair in french braids on monday and when he took them out he didnt wash her hair)
k, i just wanted to get that out.

I know what you mean, Lil Red. You know what's worse? When your husband picks out the worst possible outfit and then proudly announces "I got the girls dressed!" And I don't have the heart to tell him.
i know i know. my ex dressed her one day when she was like 6 months old. first of all, the outfit was way too small for her, second, he had zipped up some of her skin in the zipper and didnt notice. he wondered why she was crying and when i picked her up i noticed and i had to be the mean mommy and unzip it(which hurt worse)my poor daughter.
oh, he went shoppping for summer clothes for her and got her all voy clothes. blue polo shirts and boy shorts..horrible i know. i took them back and got some pink dresses just tp piss him off.
my father never bothered to try and dress me. He would leave me to my own devices. Until one day I walked with him downtown with no undies on and a dress... You know how little girls like to pick up their skirts? ya... thank god I was only 3 or 4...

okay, how about lovie's papa taking her to the store, without my knowledge, and when they come home i see that she has picked out her own mismatched, most of the time dirty clothes from the dirty clothes basket, without out a clean face or brushed hair. it mortifies me to think she was at the store looking like that.
that is exactly what im talking about..its epecially embarrassing when everyone in town knows you and your daughter....oh, they must think im a horrible mom, who never bathes her child..
