my fabulous daughter has once again struck a cord
this photo is the start of our two hour journey to pick up my 12 year-old cousin (who is going to babysit for me this weekend)
everything went well
she played her Gameboy advance all the way there and back
( a very expensive toy that her daddy bought her)
we pick up kaylyn
head back to the house
then maddie tells me she has to pee
(pretty sure you know where this story is going)
i ask her if she can hold it till we get home
she says yes so i keep on truckin
we pull into the parking lot
i open the van door
WHOOSH
a gush of cold air hits her
and...she pees in her pants
damn minnesota winters!

Hey, at least you get a winter with snow and everything. We just get 4 months of rain and 6 hours of daylight dimly shining through a perma covering of grey clouds.
